Uteki (Rain Drops), Setsugen (Snow Field) : Two piece set
- Price: $ 560
- Description: I have lived in two countries, Japan and Australia, both of which hold great significance for me.
In Japan, I saw a beautiful snow field in Winter.
Snow crystals glowed radiantly in the sunlight.
(The stay in the snowy mountains in Nagano, Japan, gave me some inspiration for this artwork.
Beautiful powdery snow at the ski slopes and snowflakes on the trees, brightly shining in the sunlight.)
In Australia, we see beautiful raindrops sparkling on the leaves in winter.
I wanted to create artwork representing two countries.

Yuugou (Fusion)
- Price: $ 380
- Description: When I first arrived in Australia, I was a little overwhelmed and needed some time to adjust to living in such a multicultural environment.
However, as I spent more time here, I began to realise the true value of diversity.
For example, this diversity means immigrants bring their own cultures and foods with them.
As a result, I can enjoy a variety of food in Australia.
Some are authentic and traditional, while others are fusion style.
I used a bluish-black Sumi ink block to control the shade of colour and texture. This artwork is created on watercolour paper with bluish-black Sumi ink block, gold Sumi ink, and thin calligraphy brushes specially sent from Japan. Signed with my calligraphy pseudonym (Gagou) and stamped with my Gagouin (calligraphy pseudonym stamp) to finish.
