Acceptable Art Works

Acceptable Works: Paintings of all genres will be accepted subject to the normal selection process.  Painting's of Oil, Acrylic, Watercolors, Pastel's and Charcoal are standard.  If you have any other sort of hanging paintings, please contact us for pre-approval.

• Number of Works: The Artist may submit ONE or as many pieces of art that fit into either
  Quarter Screen (H:1M x W 1.2M) for $44Half a Screen (H:1m x W:1.2m) for $88or a Full Screen (H:2m x W:2.4m) $176
  Entry fee as shown under the Fees and Commissions Section.
• Size of Paintings: at the artists discretion that makes their work fit and assimilate on the screen (or half a screen).  Your screen will be labelled with your name on it and all your pieces of art will hang on the said screen together.  

• To give Artists an sense of what fits on the different side screens, please see the example below.  If you are still unsure, please email us to get clarification with your painting measurements to determine if appropriate. 

NOTE the above painting options are NOT together but individually listed.  i.e. for a full screen it the picture is giving you one configuration and then listing 4 other configurations like (1 configuration would be) 4 paintings 1m x 1m in size OR (2 configuration) 8 Paintings of 80cm x 80cm in size OR (3 configuration) 12 paintings of 40cm x 40cm in size OR (4 configuration) 16-20 paintings of 20xm x 20cm in size.  NOTE there are oodles of configuration choices but these are just examples to get you to start thinking how you want your screen to look.

• When you drop your paintings off you are welcome to hang the paintings (accompanied by a hanging support person/s) to make your screen visually acceptable to you.

• Framing: Hanging works must be soundly framed, dry and ready for hanging with a taut crosswire one-third from the top.  Multi-panel pieces are accepted.

• Identification: All works must be clearly labelled on the back or underside with the artist’s name, title of work and the catalogue price clearly discernible.
